Guimaras Beach, one of beautiful beaches in The Philippines is located near Iloilo city. Guimaras isn't only well known by the beach but also by the guimaras mango. Guimaras produces a good quality of mangoes, the mangoes are exported to many countries...
After crossing the sea (i think), you must take a jeep to go to the beach, it's quite far from the harbour, maybe it's about 5km. Such a long trip right? but don't be tired! because after u see the beach, it really can relax your mind. The sand's so beautiful, it's white and so many sea shells there, the sea's so blue and clean, attracting you to swim there.
There's another beach side where you can see so many patrick (i mean starfish :) ). You can pick the starfish and take some pictures with it. I was also see a school of fish near my feet. It's really awesome!
Next! if you're in guimaras, don't forget to take a tour going to the '7 islands'. My hotel provides this tour, so i just registered in the front desk. I paid about 200 peso for the first 2 hours. If you wanna extend the time, just pay 100 peso/hour. I just went to 3 of the 7 islands. okay, now i'll tour you to the first island.
___________________________________________________________
The first island is Ave Maria island, it's a small island with a beautiful sand and scene.
The second island is The turtle island, you can 'play' with the turtle here (costs 5pesos/person). Don't forget to take pictures with the turtle! Make sure that it still on the sand! don't let it go into the sea, because it'll flee, then you must pay for it. Just pick it up if the turtle wanna flee. For real, the turtle's really heavy!
The last destination, actually isn't an island, but a cave. Bara's cave! The boat will go inside the cave, then you can take some pictures inside the cave!
Actually there're still some tourist attractions you may visit in Guimaras. As we know, Guimaras is also famous by its mangoes. There's a mango forest where you can pick the mangoes by yourself. Unfortunately, i didn't visit the mango forest..., next time then.
So.. that's it, Guimaras.! I wish i could go once again to Guimaras, and visit the places i haven't visited yet before. :)
